Meet Didié

Portrait of Didié Hamel-Jolette, Athletic Therapist, Osteopath, strength and conditioning coach

Didié (pronounced Dee-dee-ay) Hamel-Jolette is a Manual Osteopathic Therapist, Certified Athletic Therapist, and Strength & Conditioning Coach based in Revelstoke, BC. His approach combines hands-on therapy, rehabilitation, and brain-based tools to help people overcome persistent pain, recover from injury or concussion, and move with more confidence.

As a climber, backcountry skier, runner, and outdoor enthusiast, Didié understands how frustrating it can be when your body keeps holding you back. Through his 20s and early 30s, he dealt with persistent pain despite staying active and trying many different approaches to recovery.

That experience shaped the way he practices today. His studies in Athletic Therapy and Manual Osteopathy taught him to look beyond the painful area and consider how different parts of the body work together. Discovering Applied Neurology in 2023 added another piece to the puzzle: understanding how the brain and nervous system influence pain, movement, balance, and performance.

Didié has also worked in high-performance sport, including with athletes through the Canadian Sport Institute and Canada's National Triathlon Team in the lead-up to the Paris 2024 Olympic Games.

Today, he brings that experience to active people in Revelstoke and beyond—combining osteopathy, rehabilitation, and movement to help people better understand their bodies, build confidence, and get back to doing what they love.
