Athletic Therapy is a clinically proven approach for injury recovery—especially effective for sport-related injuries and concussion management. Whether you’re dealing with sprains, strains, joint dysfunction, or lingering post-concussion symptoms, I provide the tools and care needed for lasting change.


My approach blends manual therapy, targeted rehabilitation, and applied neurology to accelerate healing, restore function, and reduce reinjury risk.

What to Expect

Your first session begins with a detailed conversation and movement assessment to uncover the root causes behind your pain or limitations. From there, we build a personalized plan that evolves with your progress.

Each session may include:


  • Hands-on techniques to release tension, improve alignment, and restore ease of movement
  • Targeted rehab exercises designed to strengthen weak links and create lasting resilience
  • Neuro-based strategies that improve body-brain communication for faster recovery and more efficient movement


Rather than just addressing symptoms, the process is designed to create meaningful, lasting change—so you can recover fully, build confidence in your body, and return to your activities stronger than before.

Scar Taping

Scars can sometimes disrupt movement and create ongoing sensitivity by altering how your nervous system perceives the area. Scar taping is a gentle way to help realign collagen fibers while “remapping” the scar in your brain.

We first identify the direction (vector) that reduces nervous system threat, then apply tape to support that alignment. You’ll reapply the tape for about two weeks, allowing the scar tissue to remodel naturally as you move through daily activities.

Unlike deep tissue techniques or invasive procedures, scar taping works with your body to restore mobility, reduce discomfort, and improve overall function.

Concussion Management

Early education


For persistent symptoms beyond a few weeks, I use a personalized, multi-faceted approach that may include:

  • Manual therapy to ease headaches and neck tension
  • Vestibular and vision exercises to improve balance and visual function
  • Neck proprioception training to support stability
  • Nervous system regulation drills to calm and restore control
  • Tailored cardiovascular exercise to boost brain recovery
  • Nutritional strategies to reduce inflammation and support healing

Breathing for Recovery & Pain reduction

Breathing is more than just oxygen exchange — it’s a key player in pain reduction, nervous system regulation, and core stability. By training breath patterns, we can:

  • Reduce pain and tension by activating the parasympathetic (rest & recover) branch of the nervous system.
  • Improve core function since the diaphragm works in synergy with deep core muscles, pelvic floor, and spinal stabilizers.
  • Enhance movement efficiency by creating better trunk control and postural alignment.
  • Boost recovery and resilience through improved circulation, oxygen delivery, and nervous system balance.


Even simple strategies, like slowing your exhale for 8–10 seconds, can shift your body into recovery mode. Together, we’ll find the breathing drills that best support your goals.

ICBC insurance covers Athletic Therapy under its kinesiology coverage for individuals injured in car accidents. I provide thorough and attentive care, using my complete scope of Athletic Therapy to aid in your recovery process.

Price & Booking

If you live in Revelstoke or nearby, please book an in-person session. For complex cases or multiple issues, consider booking a 90-minute initial session.

Rates:

  • 30 minutes: $98  (GST included)
  • 60 minutes: $140 (GST included)
  • 85 minutes: $195  (GST included)
